Hannah B. Waldfogel

Hello! I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University's Center for Behavioral Science and Public Policy.

I received my PhD in Management and Organizations from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

I'm interested in how and why people come to such different conclusions about the nature of social reality.

My research examines people's perceptions of contemporary political and social phenomena. I aim to understand baseline differences in (mis)perceptions as a first step towards effectively intervening on them.

My primary work concerns the causes and consequences of ideological differences in perceptions of social inequality. In additional work, I examine other forms of information processing in the political sphere.

I received a BA in Psychology from Northwestern University's Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences and an MS in Management and Organizations from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
